hospice at home carlisle and north lakeland

We are proud to announce that the Hospice at Home Carlisle and North Lakeland will be our charity partner for 2019.

Having worked alongside the National Autistic Society (NAS) in 2018 and raising over £500 we are hoping for another successful year in 2019. Our staff and independent financial advisers will all be putting their heads together to come up with some ways to raise money for Hospice at Home throughout the year.

Andrew Goodwin, Managing Director said, “It’s great to begin this partnership with Hospice at Home and we’re looking forward to raising money for a great cause.

We’ll be encouraging our staff and IFAs to take part and donate too. We hold Affinity Events every six months and an enjoyable part of the day is when we raffle off a few prizes and donate the proceeds to charity.”

Hospice at Home Carlisle and North Lakeland provides high quality care and support for adults who have palliative and end of life care needs, and also for their families and carers. They support and care for patients and carers, husbands and wives, mothers and fathers, brothers and sisters, partners and friends.

Julie Blundell, Fundraiser for Hospice at Home said, “We are incredibly grateful that Truly Independent has selected Hospice at Home Carlisle and North Lakeland to benefit from all their fundraising activities. Corporate Supporters are vital in helping us fund high quality care and support to patients and their families who are facing difficulties associated with life limiting illness. The Charity are looking forward to this new partnership which will not only raise vital funds, but continue to spread awareness of our cause to new members of the community.”
